Ohana Creations is a family-owned business. The word Ohana means family in the Hawaiian language. Pam and Dean Staley founded the company in 2008 after Dean designed and built their signature product: the Work Station Ironing Board. It is the perfect solution for those with limited mobility, limited space, or those who are tired of getting up and down all of the time!
Pam grew up sewing. Her mother owned a drapery shop in Southern California. Pam sewed clothes for her daughters and herself, decorative home items, and many, many Halloween costumes. It wasn’t until her own mother passed away and she found some unfinished quilt squares that she took up quilting. Pam has designed purses, walker/wheelchair bags, ironing board covers and numerous quilts- including six for her first grandchild!
Dean is retired from the U.S. Navy. He was stationed in Hawaii for many years and made it his home. He has always been creative, and after watching Pam get up and down constantly while she was sewing, he designed the Work Station Ironing Board for her. It turned out so well they decided to market it to quilt shops and attend quilt shows. In addition to building the Work Station Ironing Board in his home workshop, Dean also makes a wooden seam press and custom signs using the Compucarve wood carving system.
Dean and Pam have four grown children, three grandsons a granddaughter. They reside in Northern Colorado.

Most orders are sent out the next business day. If there is a delay in shipping, customers will be notified by e-mail. We do the best we can to make sure that we offer the best shipping rate for our products. Shipping rates for orders are estimated amounts. If we can reduce the cost of shipping and handling we will. Shipping costs will not exceed the estimated amount. Orders are generally shipped via FedEx. Smaller, lighter items may ship by USPS. Delivery time is usually 5 - 14 business days.
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, please contact us either by phone or e-mail. We will do our best to resolve the problem. We will refund the purchase price provided the returned merchandise is in the original packaging with all materials and accessories and is in resalable condition. Merchandise not in resalable condition or missing items or parts is subject to a 15% refurbishing fee. We do not refund shipping costs. Return shipping is at the buyer's expense. Proof of purchase must accompany any returns. Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
